Day 60: Oh yes, we've forgotten

Hi there readers!

We're in Kentucky right now. Actually, we're in Lexington, watching a movie (hint it's about crazy rich asians). It's our way of coping with our loss: Vivan has flown back to Stanford for medical school. We wish her the best, even though she can't read this, as she's fighting bears in the wilderness with other med school students.

There's a funny thing about Kentucky: it's stunning and deadly. It's stunning in that every turn is full of luscious trees and rolling green pasture. It's deadly in that it's been stormy the last couple of days, and the crazy not so rich dogs are out to get us. (Don't worry about us; Brian taught us techniques to fight the animals).

It's also really hot and humid; we're truly in the South. And the hospitality has been very Southern. One night, we stayed with Pastor Bill, and he rented us rooms for the night at a motel. Yesterday's hosts, Katie and Paul, prepared us this feast of sweet potato stew and corn bread. And today, we are staying in a spacious room thanks to St. William Catholic Church in Lancaster. We can't thank you enough for all you've done.

And tomorrow, we're off on our way McKee! Please ask us any questions about us or our trip in the comments! We'll answer them in tomorrow's blog post!

And pictures to come.
